Deleting Client Documents from the Adviser Portal

Clients does not have the ability to delete documents they've previously uploaded. Only advisers have the ability to delete the uploaded documents from the client page in the adviser portal. Here's how you can delete a client's document in the adviser portal. 




Step 1: Navigate to Client Documents
1. On the Advisor Home Page locate the client for whom you want to delete documents.
2. Click on Status and Tasks for that specific client.

Step 2: Access Client Portal Summary
1. You will be directed to the Client Portal Summary page. This page displays information related to the selected client.

Step 3: Locate the Documents
1. In the Client Portal Summary, scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the Client's Documents section.

Step 4: 
Identify and Delete the Document
1. Identify the document you wish to delete. Next to the document, you will find a trash or bin icon  . Click on it to delete the document.

Important Note
1. Deleting a document in the Advisor Portal will also remove it from the client's Document Vault within the Client Portal.
2. To ensure you don't delete documents accidentally, always confirm with your client beforehand.
