How Do I Identify Client Needs Using the Advice Scope Feature?

In the Adviser Portal, it's important to manage and document each client's goals in the advice scope accurately. This guide will help you identify and record whether a client's goal is In Scope or Out of Scope. By following these steps, you can visualize clear boundaries and provide precise advice that meets your client's needs.




Step 1: Access the Client's Profile
1. Navigate to the Adviser Home Page

elect the desired client.

Step 2: Open the Advice Scope Tab
1. Click on the Advice Scope tab to access the client's advice scope settings.
2. Click the Add Advice Scope button to start defining the scope of financial advice.
3. Choose from the available options to specify the areas of financial advice that are relevant to the client's needs.

Step 3: Set Scope Status
1. Indicate whether each selected category is In Scope (to be included in the financial plan) or Out of Scope (not to be included).

Step 4: Save Changes
1. Once you've defined the scope, click Completed to save your selections.


Important Note:
Once you've added items to the In Scope and Out of Scope sections, a summary appears on the main Advice Scope page. A green checkmark indicates items included in the plan, while a red mark signifies items excluded. This visual guide helps you easily review your client's financial plan.
