How Can Clients Complete a SMART Goal Task in the Client Portal?

At Advice Revolution, we are committed in helping you and your clients collaborate on setting SMART goals for the new financial year. This guide will walk you through how to clients can use the client portal task in creating their own SMART goals. By understanding this process, you can effectively use the gathered information to populate the Discovery and Advice Scope modules for comprehensive financial planning.



For clients to access the SMART goals task:

Step1: Login to Your Client Portal
1. Open your preferred web browser and go to the Advice Revolution Client Portal login page.
2. Enter your login credentials and click Login.

Step 2: Access Your To-Do's
1. Once logged in, locate and click on the To-Do's section in the main navigation menu. 
2. Find the SMART goal task assigned by the adviser.
3. Click on the SMART goal task to view and read the description and other details.
5. Copy and paste the SMART goal template provided by the adviser into the Client Comments field.
6. Fill in the goals according to the template.
7. Click Submit to complete the task.

For advisers to 
view the task after the client has completed it: 

Step 1: View Client's Task
1. Navigate to the specific client's profile and locate the Status and Tasks section.

Step 2: Review Client's Response
1. In the
Client Portal Summary page, scroll down to find Adviser for Review section. 
2. Find the task name of the SMART goal task and click the pen icon 
 

Step 3: Mark as Complete
1. After reviewing the client's answer, change the status to Done and the click
 Submit.
2. The task will then be moved from Adviser for Review to Completed
