Enabling Digital Consent in a Client's Fact Find


Learn how to effectively obtain client consent for Fact Finds. This guide outlines the steps to either allow clients to edit their data before approval or simply request their sign-off.



Step 1: Activate the consent in the client portal settings
1. Find the client in the client list and click Send Client Portal button.
Step 2: Edit the client portal settings.
1. Select Create new Template or I don't want to use a template.
2. Select Fact Find Consent or select
Yes to include the Digital Consent after the client has completed the fact find.
3. Turn On the fact sections in the questionnaire that you need the client to provide information or answers for. 
4. Click Send email to client.

Important Note:
Make sure to activate the digital consent terms in the practice settings; otherwise, the digital consent option will not appear. If the consent feature is not activated in the practice settings, clients will not be able to use this feature.
